Hello there, I am Nicole, the office manager and chiropractic technician at Northern Door Chiropractic and Wellness. I am originally from the small town of Winneconne, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison (Go Badgers!) which is where I met Dr. Rob.

My first experience with chiropractic was when I was pregnant with our first child who was in a breach presentation at 35 weeks. The chiropractor I went to utilized the Webster Technique to adjust and balance my pelvis; this allowed for my baby to assume a more optimal, head-down position for birth! I have had regular chiropractic care ever since which has restored optimal nervous system function and helped with my anxiety and migraines. After the birth of our second son, my passion for birth and the desire to provide support to women throughout pregnancy and birth was undeniable. I decided at that time to begin the necessary training and education to become a certified birth doula through DONA (Doulas of North America). I have seen firsthand, both personally and with my doula clients, how beneficial chiropractic care is for pregnant women and for children of all ages. Not only will you see me behind the front desk and orchestrating things around the office behind the scenes, but as a chiropractic technician you may also find me assisting with patient history and vitals, and the therapeutic modalities that we offer in our clinic such as cold laser, ultrasound therapy, and electric stimulation (e-stim). I guess you could say that I am Dr. Rob’s right-hand (wo)man!

I am the lucky momma of four! Dr. Rob and I have three energetic boys – Merrick (12), Emerson (11), and River (7), and our newest addition joined our family in August of 2024, a sweet baby girl named Eden. Because we are a family centered practice and we homeschool, you are likely to see them around the office from time to time. Being a mother to them is my greatest gift and has instilled in me a passion for birth, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, natural wellness, healthy living, and of course, chiropractic! I am proud to be by Dr. Rob’s side doing what we love. I enjoy sharing my passions with others and am humbled to partner with our incredible patients on their journey to health and wellness. 

When not in the office, I can be found homeschooling, gardening, hiking, boating, riding my Peloton, paddle boarding, doing all the touristy things (that's half the fun of living here!), cooking/baking, and exploring Door County and beyond with my crew.
