I am Dr. Rob Morley, the owner and chiropractor at Northern
Door Chiropractic and Wellness. I am originally from Kiel, Wisconsin, but am happy to call
Door County my forever home. I reside in Sister Bay with my beautiful wife, Nicole, and my three
young sons. My chiropractic journey began at an early age when I found
myself suffering from debilitating back pain while playing pee-wee football. I was quickly
referred to a chiropractor that gave me back my youth. Regular chiropractic care kept me operating
at my peak potential, especially on the football field, throughout my teen years. Unfortunately,
I lost touch with chiropractic during a busy nine-year Army counterintelligence career.
Regrettably, this strenuous career and my drifting from chiropractic caught up with me. By the end of
my military career, my spine and body as a whole were in rough shape. Luckily for me, my wife
was pregnant with our second child at the time, and she was receiving regular
chiropractic care to help with pregnancy aches and pains and to help facilitate a smooth labor and
delivery. With her encouragement, I made my way back to chiropractic and my future passion. Not only had
chiropractic given me back my youth, it had now helped me so that I could play with and
chase after my toddler and be a supportive husband to my pregnant wife. Needless to say, I
was hooked on chiropractic and never looked back. I soon enrolled at the birthplace and
leader of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Why Pediatrics?
I have always loved spending time with and helping children.
Even as a teenager, I could usually be found keeping a watchful eye on my younger cousins at
family gatherings. As a young Soldier, I welcomed the opportunity to interact with the
children of my fellow Soldiers and Commanders. Being a big kid at heart and a new dad made
pediatrics a natural fit and obvious choice for me. My three boys are the driving force behind
what I do. I truly believe that it’s better to grow healthy kids than to fix injured adults. I
want to help the children in my practice overcome their limitations and live their best life possible
through the help of chiropractic care. For me, there is no greater joy than to see a smile on a
child’s face!
Why Pregnancy?
Nicole and I love learning, which is why when we found out
that we were expecting our first child we quickly engrossed ourselves in all things
pregnancy. The more I learned about pregnancy, the more I realized just how much it can affect
both mom and child for years after the birth. It became evident that by keeping mom’s nervous
system interference free and her pelvis aligned that chiropractic could not only help to make her
pregnancy and labor as comfortable and as uneventful as possible, but may also be able to help
babies long after the birth.
Outside the Office
I am an avid lover of the outdoors. When I’m not in the office, you can likely find me out hiking, hunting, boating, fishing, on my tractor, or exploring all that this beautiful peninsula has to offer with my family. I am a coffee aficionado [remember, I have three young boys], an amateur grill master, and can make a mean omelet. I cheer for the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers... but if you are a Bears or Cubs fan, I promise not to let it affect the care you receive!
